Background: Buckley Prichard International was asked to pitch for this piece of work against three other reputable Real Estate Recruitment business's in London. The business was secured based upon referrals taken by the client with their contacts within the Property development and investment industry in London. The brief was to secure a succession posting for a senior development executive to head up the development function of the business within 12 months allowing the existing Head of Development to hand over and step up on to the non-executive board.
Process: As a key senior level position within the developer client, it was imperative that the best talent was secured and had the track record within Central London to meet the exacting standards of our client. Having agreed the brief Buckley Prichard International identified a target approach list in conjunction with the client. Direct approaches were informally made and meetings arranged in confidence. Once the prospect was understood we were able to identify an impressive shortlist, all of whom were met by the board of our client. After several meetings a key decision was made and the ideal candidate secured. Buckley Prichard International was involved in negotiating on behalf of the client to reduce the contract liabilities of the incumbent as well as the remuneration and incentive package.
